i do run an hpdi and love it great on gas and oil runs a good number in my eyes. as said in the past motor need service some more than others. yes hpdi need attention but I love the motor Mercury makes good hp . only two merc powered sob boats ever got passed me trimmed out and Ben both ran 300x . I believe run what you bring to the water yes the yamaha is the underdog but it's a lot of fun trying. brp could be a good runner time will tell. as we all know I run my gopro every trip to capture that moment to post for all see you guys out there.
So ur saying 85 is a big #? There are many 21s w Mercs going over 90 I didn't say yamis were bad. All I said was if u want the big big # there's only one choice. N if 85 a it, it's resoectible but it's not what anyone would consider "big" you have a beautiful boat there but I heard of at least 4 p22s in the 90s w black motors
