Facts about Evinrude/Johnson racing outboards made my OMC

Wow..this is a very unique info and facts from Italy.
In 1981 Renato Molinari installed the Evinrude V6 2 liter looper fuel injection powerhead as an inboard and hooked it up to a stern drive with racing lower unit.
He won the UIM R3 2 liter inboard class World Championship same year.
See..now we know where some of the very unique and powerful OMC looper V6 2 liter powerhead ended up.

I asked Roberto Bigi about the top speed of Renato's UIM R3 class "Evinrude inboard"..

Roberto BigiLars.. more or less 180 / 190 Km/h

..meaning max 118 MPH..
