    Learned something today. Even though I was a student of all things OMC as a kid in the 60s I never knew the 2stroke stern drive had oil injection. Any idea how it worked?

    yup. they stopped making it after initially introducing it & promoting it & switched to premix only, because of the lack of a low oil warning system...well there was one...but it failed as well... Guess what happened next?

    I know where two are never run on a display stand. Always wanted to buy a skater to put them in and watch people lose their sh*t.

    ...in the 90's, OMC...in a later attempt to help sell more small outboards, had Zodiac private label them some "OMC Express" inflatable boats...again, another deflated marketing strategy...

    The old rack gear tilt....common fail was it would stick in the full up position. That made many people very mad!

    The funny thing is with that convoluted bull**** intermediate housing a velvet drive trans and a direct drive outer would have been so much better..but hey whatever. I've seen less complicated haybines.
