    Hi Bill, also happy to hear that you are OK. I thought the same about Bill & Jim's boats having raced against them, but not being a Merc man didn't want to stick my nose in to the fray. Hering's boat in the other picture looks similar but perhaps a bit deeper at midship.

    I think Hering's Molinari is a 17 foot sprint, one of the early Molinaris where they were going from rocker bottoms to a shallower tunnel with less lift. John, I hope you always "stick your nose in" after all you were a competitor in the best era of racing - you have first hand experience/knowledge !!
    John, did you race in Toronto ( I think 1973 0r 74 ) in the PS100's at Cherry Beach ?
