Myrick ran a new 32 Doug Wright pleasure boat with stock 400s and no remote water pick ups to 126 this week. Still had water pressure but steering was loose from what he said.

It becomes useful information when you are dealing with new motors that hit the limiter so early. When you send propellers to someone that gives you a correct degree and rake, set up efficiency is your next goal to maximize performance. The 5 blades will inherently be more efficient.

How the hell did they get the design of these motors so sexy and the new 4 strokes so damn ugly? How does the same company manage to be that dead on and then SO FAR OFF ?????

Ohhhhhhhh come on guy's . You really need to hear said , what you already know .
OK , you talked me into it ...
We @ Eliminator never expected the 400 4 stroke outboard to take off like it has . All we have molds for is a tall transom I/O that works with 300xs motors because thank god we can get enough set back to make it look half way decent .
We were really hoping you wouldn't notice how cramped up we have to run the 400's to get the CG's ehhh close enough .
And no , at this time we do not recommend the 15" race motors ...
There , ya happy ...

Like the blind man said while peeing into the wind: "It's all coming back to me"...thanks Chaz for once again bringing us to the obvious.

With the propshafts 2+” above the bottom you don’t need much trim to keep them out of the mud. My 15” won’t go to the end of the tilt rams before the limit switch stops you from cowl hitting boat fairing. Center sponson still hits the sand before the skeg.
