my 2007 22ft with 300xs sold for mid 90s new. 11 years later. 135 sounds right. Todd i am not sure if you have seen one in person. This 22ft boat beside a Talon xl would not look close in size. I would guess 40 percent more glass materials used for the build.

Heck, you can get a Talon 22 XL with twin 300xs for less than the $100k mark or an American Offshore with twin 400R's for what that Eliminator cost.

When it did 93 I was thrilled and never expected it to hit the 98 that it did on this hull. If the 3000 lb is correct it's lighter than mine, so I'm sure it will go fast given some setup time.

Way less free board on the race boat. More in the proportions of the Talon loa ,beam, to free board. It will be intersting to see how the 400R does against the 400-450 Caldwell engine on the same hulls. Considering there about the same cost to rig. Probably get away with way less pitch on the Caldwell with the 3000 rpm higher. Havent seen the torque numbers of either but these two motors should stack up nicely against one another. Due to the 800 lb savings in weight my money goes with the 450 Caldwell in twin application blowing the doors off the 400r twin setup on fast hulls 30ft or less.

i don’t know if you realize it but Eliminator will weigh your boat. I have had them weigh mine twice. Since mine it there now for some warranty work now, I asked them to weigh it again before I pick it up. I have made some changes to it am am curious to know. Also ran 116 last time out with quite a bit of gas. Now with cold weather maybe it will get to 120.

no, the word catamaran comes from the Tamil word Kattumaran which means boat from several logs tied together.

You see these in India and its usually 3 planks together and they stand on them and paddle
