Oz Dude,
No problems mate, can take you for a spin. I'd never been in one till i got mine. And even then it was a long wait whilst rigging it from scratch before i got to drive it. Worth the wait, perfect river boat.
Hasnt got a ski pole, but towed a few mates the other day no problems. Can get it to sit nice, and produce a decent skiing wake. Not really why i bought it for but, more just a good social / river thrashing boat!

So is the river wide enough down there that I could run 2 guys on 200ft ropes at say 70-80mph??
Just looked on Google maps - is that lake at Chipping Norton suitable for skiing or is it too shallow?
I might have to come down and you can show me around first

Nah couldnt do it in the river, to narrow. Chipping norton lake is 8 knots
Most the guys i know use Botany Bay, plenty of room out there and the wakeboarders dont get out there!

Bullet 1650, There should be atleast 7 of us going out, We usually drop in here at Chipping Norton (Flowerpower) and all head out to Lugarno for a mad wrap n a swim, Then we head back down n hoon around untill 9pm as the have the fireworks down here at Garrison Point. Its always a real good dayy.

Bullet 1650 - 8 Knots? Phooey. We should all go out there and motor around at 8 knots to show em how big your wash is at that speed. Now 78 Knots on the other hand - no wash at all
17 Matra Missile - I'm guessing the Flower Power site has decent launching facilities, carpark, etc. I lived at Casula when I was a kid but we moved up the coast when I was only young so I don't know the area at all...

Mine, 97, made by roarke, mod vp bottom. Daryl beatie had one too but I think that ended up at azzona's in Sydney, they used it to flop a mold and I'm not sure where it went after that.
Yours, a Triad, it's got the ski bottom has'nt it?
John's, dunno who made his, his is the ski bottom too so I think it's a Triad but I know he was dealing with the LPB fella, don't think it was an LPB, but might have got it thru him.
Hmm, John's got a river rocket too, thinking that may be a LPB but I've never seen it.Last edited by woodduck; 01-15-2009 at 05:14 AM.
