Ski setup vs Pleasure setup. Is the 300xs faster on those than the Verado?

All the other bullet boats are tried and proven, very fast river/lake boats indeed!
what was the cause of the crash which I would say is rare in SD boats??

No official cause has been announced? Owner/driver believes they hit something.?
That's all I know for certain so won't speculate.

ID:	362604Hi all. Recently bought an older Bullet 1800. It must've been fitted with an Evinrude V6 175 in 1990.

The boat has obviously been changed around a bit. I'm just curious about what was original or not like:

    1. It now has a water ballast tank up front. The "fill" point on top front of the boat was bogged over. Was this always just for water, or for fuel?

    2. It has absolutely no bilge, was this normal? It appears the rear has been fibreglassed over. I'm wondering if I can create a fibreglass bilge pit, but have no idea where the reinforced ribs are. Right now I've rigged up a diaphragm pump so it can suck the shallow water out.

And replacement windscreens. Any idea who and where? It has the little "dip" across the top. Every boat windscreen place I've called either can't make one, or doesn't ring back.

    Thanks all!

/Also I've learned the hard way about painting fibreglass in 2-pack. What a nightmare!

hey there from perth, just reading through these posts looking for some info on the boat i am in the middle of restoring-repowering and come across your comment "its a good step from a pride cheetah"
lol, just curious as to what you know about them as this is the boat i now own and have invested a fair bit of hard earned into, best if i know the negative just as much as the positive and anything you can tell me would be very much apprctd, mine is the gts version and am just fitting a 2ooo johnny 130 to it, thankyou,
    kind regards

There are two in the U.S. And I own them both. One is a 1850 built in NZ the other is a 1950 that we are currently racing.
