    The thing about the Pinto, is that it did not have a higher fatality rate than other small cars of its era. Of course it was a death trap compared to today's cars. There are some interesting articles about that deal.

    My parents were praying ours would catch on fire. Biggest pos I remember as a kid. Was so proud when they finally upgraded to a Granada. RR

    Pinto's didn't even catch fire more than other small cars overall, but were more likely to burn in a rear impact.

    I had a girlfriend in high school who's father bought a Granada. It would stall at intersections.

    For the first 6 months of 2025, more electricity was generated by renewables, mostly wind and solar, than coal. 5072 terawatt hours vs 4896. China and India are driving the shift.
