Remember guys he said "light". Not sure an I/O Searay or Liberator qualifies.

    Way cool!

I bought and hung a new GT 200 on mine and ran same speeds. Blew up 3 Land and Sea torque shift props on it but was fun.

Mounted a removable ski pylon on it and skied our asses off behind that boat too.

I believe yes. That ad is a couple years old but as we all know, sometimes our boats don't sell.

Performance and cuddy aren't generally used in the same sentence. Unless of course you add the words blue pill and talk about performance in the cuddy.

Checkmate has the Pulsare 2100 that will sleep two adults (no porta potti) and will weight in at about 2000lbs rigged (1375lb hull weight). Rigged and setup correctly with a 300XS the boat will run well into the 90's. Fun boat to drive! Your standard 3.0L 225 Merc will push it to mid 70's.

    Not a cuddy.

Checkmate called the area under the forward deck on my Spectra 201 a "play pen." I think that's a better description than a cuddy for that type of boat.

Hi guys. Louie, the op. I want to thank everyone who replied. Instagator, your post was amazing but I know everyone is trying to contribute quite well. It is starting to look like by going relatively new or new, a walkaround cabin ,as one of you suggested, might be the way to go. It appears to keep the weight below 4500-5000 max boat, motor, trailer with the trade off being a slower boat. A hydrostream with the cuddy, Venus, had a cuddy which you could not sit up. I don't think they even make boats anymore? Again thank you for the numerous responses. Louie
