I just did the same thing with my 21 Liberator, transom and floors with Coosa board, it was a lot of work but the boat is like new now. Did you come across some of those big rollers during the race?

I'm getting to old to take a chance on something like this,,, sad to say but have people relying on me and don't want to leave them short. freak things happen, I have a kick ass motorcycle the princess is giving me a ton of grief over. but I still have to do most of the cooking, so, she only gets half a vote.
most overnite successes usually take at least 10 years

Found another video of the Enduro before the start. At 7:22 is a clip that has #234 in it. Did not know Mr. Taylor so I'm not sure if that is him.

Side note: That is me at 6:24 in the blue/black hat with my 15 yr old daughter.

Lost a friend, racer and a mentor. Kevin was always willing to lend a hand or answer any questions to help our sport. He was one of the original COR members and will be missed
Kevin, his wife and his crew out of Henderson NV never missed a COR or Enduro races no matter the distance needed to travel. STV Keith was on his team and ran many COR and Enduro's with him.

We did make it to the race and eventually took the checkered flag. I think we completed about 17 laps. Started with a 2.4 and finished with my trusty 2L.
I would like to thank my co driver John Courtermanche and my crew chief Mr James Perry AKA Wrenchin2 and my family and friends that continue to support me. Thanks

Losing anyone in any race is such a brutal hit. I have lost a lot of friends this year in racing accidents or simply bad luck while being in a car or boat.

It was reasons like this why I decided my boat was not ready for the Parker and cancelled going. After looking at the age & signs of wear on my hull... I decided to split the hull, replace and upgrade all bulkheads and remove the rubrail with many layers of both carbon and glass so there was zero hull flex. I also added lots of extra bulkheads, boxed areas full of structural floatation foam and stringer reinforcement knowing this event will push the hull to massive stress. I have consulted with several friends who work for local Offshore Boat builders where their product is designed for massive wave impact throughout its life cycle.

So if there is an event in April... I will be ready for that test!

    All good ideas here!!

Have you weighed the hull, whats the target weight? were you planning on Div. VI?

My guess is 190 to 220ish. Never had mine dyno and dont think many do. On our lite roundy rounds boats they pull pretty good. On the enduros it's all about setup and the RPM's you want to run for 4hrs. Finding a good worked prop that will help carry the extra 200lbs of fuel helps too. Normally Modvp hulls will run 78-82. STV and Mirages can typically see 83-86 later in the race.
