Yes and No. Changed the entire electrical system out which did not solve the problem. We had been low on compression for our 2.4 with 30cc heads, thinking the rings had not seated. We made the decision to pull the crank from this motor and put into a Modvp oval port mota and run that. After tearing down the fishin mota we found that gaskets where to small. 2.4 130 gaskets from Pro Marine. We matched them up with a second brand new set we had, same issue. We found the correct gaskets and put the Modvp mota together yesterday. Got a couple hours on it, driving until it was dark trying to seat the rings. Feels much stronger in the mid range. Got here late last night. One more test early this morning to choose a prop.
Then run it like we stole it. Race should start about 10 Az time. On surfrat.tv YouTube. Thank God for friends and family

damn, don't know the details but this does not sound good. If this person died it truly saddens me, bless the family as something like this changes things forever.

It was rough day for many out there...I thought it was Duff's boat when I saw the impact and the EMT boat
, and then Al's Stoker went over. Baker343, you guys were thrashing from the get go right before warm ups and then it looked like you were pulling the powerhead when I stopped by your pits about an hour and a half in. Some pics:
