    So they make a new mold for every prop they make so every trophy they make they destroy the mold they make hundreds a year hard to believe

    google how merc makes a stainless prop, the mold is nothing, the process to create all that is where the investment is but there must be lots of shops in the USA doing the same thing.
    In other words once set up you can copy any prop

    OMC has done worse things, all race items from the 2.0 and 3.0 custom loopers used way back, all f1v8 stuff including the truck full of spares and the twin pinion full shift offshore box and tooling etc, all crushed. Seaway got the drawings just in time so the heritage can last.
    Must be something American management learns in college as it doesnt happen overseas, they are proud of previous accomplishments.

    With additive manufacturing/3d scanning etc stuff will become very easy to make low volume parts in the future if not now.
    Why not save it or sell it?
