Like mentioned earlier this is not my only boat but one that I can build relatively cheap since I already have motor and rigging. That silver rocket looks close enough to what I envisioned and we can all go. I just wonder if a bench could be used in the front instead of buckets or if this will be a safety hazard while running. If you've ever seen my office you will realize that this setup is spacious. We will see what Jack can drum up, the wife said go for it already....

Kimswang this is the Quatershot T4 Instigator mentioned. Jack builds this boat too. Very much like the Euro. Lots of room.

I thought the RR was the prettiest tunnel boat out there until seeing your Quartershot!
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I forwarded the picture of the silver rocket to Jack, and yes he can build it. While the Euro and the T-4 has lots more room, room is not really what I'm looking for. I'm thinking a boat just like the silver one, but with a bench in the front should be just the ticket. I can easily set it up for LH steering too, which is a must for me. We will see what happens when we knock ours heads together but that 2+2 rocket sure looks like what I want.

My boat is an original Summerford, and it had a bench in the front when I got it.

I thought I remembered them with a front bench. My issue with that would be safety in rough conditions. I lost the gearcase at 95 with a buddy in the rear bench and it beat the dog **** out of him!

Rob, I remember seeing that the first time and thinking oh crap!
The back of the River Rocket is part of what I liked so much and I decided I liked yours even better!

Hope all is well your way my friend.
Miss your smiling face and hand shake when down visiting.

Gary, Well I can tell you that life is much better sober. Drank way too much since I was about 16 with a couple short breaks along the way. Caused a lot of wreckage from drinking etc. Things are going great now! My Action 20 will be on the water very soon and that will put a smile on my face that I haven't had in a lonnnngggg time

Well, while a River Rocket is something that can be built new, if you don't like the lines of the Euro and want something "racier", you might look for a Pro Comp Ski (like mine). IMO, other than the Mod VP boat, the PCS had the best, raciest lines of any STV, and looks the most like a race boat. Due to the teardrop style cockpit, side by side front seating is not an issue, and it's wider than a River Rocket in the front seat area. The rear seat is a bench that works for 2 smaller people, or one person has lots of room. Something to consider.
