Thanks for that link. I have sent him a PM, looks like a winner to me as I kinda have discovered that my Monty motor might be a little too much for Allisons or STV's. This might just work out great.

My 15" etec is very close in weight to a v8. With some strategic rigging there is zero ill effects on handling.

No matter what tunnel you get. The single best bang for your buck improvement for an 8 on a tunnel is a 1.62 sportmaster. Big gear, Safer, handles better, designed for the 120s it will easily run with 400+hp period.

Kimswang hope it works out for you. I am currently working on a 4.0 V8 to put on my Fastcat.
We traded midsections a few years back.

I know someone has bound to have put an 8 on a 21 Lib but I can`t recall a picture of one. It would be a nice rig but fuel consumption would suck.

That looks nice, very nice. STVKeith did the same with his and it might be something I will do too. The guy who bought two of my motors is sending me a 20" so I can get going. Might blow a few OMC cases first before I do the swap.....

Is that a OMC to Merc 2.5 adapter, then a 2.5 to 3.0 adapter?

It’s a two plate system. The bottom plate bolts to the OMC and the top Plate bolts to the bottom plate and the 3.0 sporty bolts to the top plate.
