AFR, I've never seen your boat run like a hydro. It's always trimmed out running on the back half of the hull like a conventional boat

I talked to the pilot today it sounded like he doesn't mind the sponson walk. He knows it's the nature of the beast but the sea wall was too close for 120+. I promise he's got more balls then all the keyboard Know-it-alls hating!

Thanks for keeping us updated and job well done so far

Scott you should let them use old Ted, er Red to break all these records ...
Since It only weighs 283.379 lbs. It would make Twisted look like a submarine, maybe they would let you drive, with all your past NASCAR experience this would be simple ... just hold the wheel straight and YEE HAA!

I think the biggest issue you have with this project is you need design a bigger area for the driver's balls to rest (both the guys who've driven).....they're getting squeezed too hard in that tight space.

Right about what? Be honest, what is the fastest your boat ran? 70... 75?

Side question, do you use a respirator when working with resin?

There seems to be some confusion between the goals of two very different boats . While I cant speak for anyone else ........ It appears that .... >
One is a drag boat that might also try a top end run .
The other , is going for the all out speed record that will do some drag racing along the way .

    Rudder :

The safe to 160 thing has more to do with the Warthog ( no offence to the A-10 ) protecting his record , than safety . Try going 177+ without a rudder and see if it will stand with the UIM / APBA , NAACP , or any other group ...

    No secrets here :
While it's true that Twisted snapped a rudder off at the stress riser , three more , of different shapes and sizes have already been made ... less the stress riser of course ...

Chaz is right completely different projects. Completely different setup and design, but both projects a mountain of work.
