OK, here is the boat I drove for Ben Major (Major Marine, Battery Park, VA) for the '84 season. Region 4 High Point Champion, US-2, and shattered the ModVP closed course record at Portsmouth VA that year. It was a 1983 LTV race hull with a 1984 Merc Mod VP, only upgrade was shaved heads and carb tuning.

Was that boat one of the PROTO types that Bush and Tuttle drove in Bermuda? I believe Tuttel blew his over at that race?
