I mean no one is even close to what you just did,

I don't expect you to give all your knowledge away, but did you spray NOS,
It figures that that YOU would compare naturally aspirated 300's on 32', to blown 450's on a 28'

Safety first, I guess I'm becoming Chicken -Chit the older I get, 71 now, but I wouldn't try those V 10s , with all that extra weight back there, on a small ( in todays world) 28, just be happy you accomplished the Impossible,

Life is Too short, just enjoy, Savor this experience
Geez are you Bob T's brother from another mother. Warren and team got it done big time.

Cool as hell to watch. Maybe he should letter "150 Club" on the back of the hull

My problem is, it was obvious that Warren wasn't happy about being called a cheater, then you come on here and all but say he was using nitrous, and the want him to admit it.

And just for the record, a THIRTY NINE DW ran 147 with 500's @ loto.

Great job Warren, I applaud your perseverance and King Kong balls. I checked 39's with 1.60 gears 4% slip at 6800 screams 151 mph. Maybe you can share what props you actually ran?

Its great to see a 30 plus year old cat design put up a grand number.

I was already a proud 28 Skater owner.

    Thank you
    Jim

Motec is advertising 200hp over stock before nitrous. I'm guessing tuners are making 700 or more per motor. Keep in mind this hull would probably run 115 with 600 horse total. The rate of progress the last 2 years is astounding

I would like to bring my 24 but I have been told that the rough water might be a bit much to make a real fast run with a small boat.

You would be fine on the course Saturday and Sunday. Running around for the week and lake racing, you might want to just ride with me.

There was a LOT of Motec systems running around LOTO that week. Had a chance to chat with Motec reps and Kong Performance at the street party. Some smart cookies. Things are moving in the right direction for the performance outboard crowd.

This is just the beginning. Things are going to be crazy next year if some of the plans come to reality. You will see guys running in the 9,000 rpm range-there are lots of parts getting built right now by people who make 3000 h.p. out of Toyota DOHC 3L 2JZ motors (lots of boost). I have been told that 1200 out of our 4.6 motors is easily achievable in a supercharged form but it will take some $ to make them strong enough to deal with the cylinder pressures that they will see. This is creating interest from people with money as a second or third boat with built up outboards. One of the guys showed up with six spare powerheads and cases along with his 1550 inboard cat. They know its a learning curve that requires breaking parts as things evolve. Mercury sure did give us an awesome platform to build from.

Slightly off topic (okay all the way), but can anyone think of a drag boat that would float a 450 with carbon cowls? A sub 1000lb hull with 800hp on spray and spins 9k could be rowdy. Possibly a light liberator... Okay I'm done now JPEROG just got me thinking
