    No More Marine Plywood.

It looks like this could be the future for many applications.

It looks interesting, but it's more expensive than marine plywood so that will be a hurdle for boatbuilders.

Just a shi**y bar graph with no numbers... but "S. Marine Board" is heavier and more expensive than marine plywood.

Looks good for pontoon boat decks but past that I’m not sure what with bonding issues with polypropylene.

I have a 2014 Sweetwater (Godfrey) pontoon. The deck is made with Marine Deck treated plywood. It shows no signs of rot after 11 years. Not always kept under shelter.

...dont forget PVC board. its what all good marine upholstery shops & boat manufacturers have been using in recent years. started using it when it came out in the 90's. what most dont know, is that its available in different grades, which changes the price considerably. the smoother, the more costly. bubbled surface sheets, less costly. off-colors, blem sheets, less costly, etc. takes a screw & can be glued. plexiglass/plastic sheet wholesale houses are your source. never pay retail...

Well crap, I was only thinking in structural terms instead of all the seat cushions, seat bases, sun pads, and upholstered trim pieces. That’s huge.
