    Hydrostream Vegas models

I just purchased a hydrostream Vegas tunnel. How many versions of the Vegas were produced? Which is the fastest. What are the pros and cons of each?

The "Skier" had a heavy 3/4" front deck and bow mounted 41(?) gal fuel tank... definitely not the fastest of that bunch. There's some specs and some links to magazine articles at hydrostream.org

Good shot Frank, I had one just like Frank’s only I had the old style deck. Got 104 out of her with a fleet master gear case and a 15x30 lab reference Cleaver. Miss those days.

Hydrostream did weird stuff... the HST "Skier" was just a name tag to bull**** the insurance companies, literally nothing different. The Vegas "Skier" was like a completely different boat... 75 mph with a 200 and a good prop, but you could pull a bunch of slalom skiers out without the nose pointing straight up.

Yes, that's how I learned to barefoot... and really to slalom properly.
