Given what we're going through in E. Central GA after Helene (9 days without power), sorry but I'm not interested. Kinda sounds like a "Dead Pool" to me. Have fun.

I've been through 5 direct hits and I'm burned out, I took my wife to the hospital last night, I believe she had another stroke, circling the drain, she is the only reason I'm still here because of her condition, and the multitude of doctors,

I'm going to Northeast Florida, St Johns River. They never get hit. Forty years in South Florida is enough for me.

Fort Myers Beach, what was left, is far from recovery from the hurricane two years ago,

Fort Myers beach flooded two weeks ago, and here they go again.

A lot of people are getting burned out, Insurance rates are out of this world, so many with paid-off property don't have insurance,

How many times do they let people rebuild these Barrier islands?

My brother has a new Lucid Air, he lives 700 feet from the Gulf of Mexico, the living area is built high but his cars could wet, Venice Fl.

I never realized an airboat can go across dry asphalt until I was in one. I braced me and dog for a dead stop, but it kept going like it had wheels ? Fed the fk up w this drama

    ps
Anybody in path of a depression or named storm I would advise using ventusky on the desktop for early "prediction paths", use time slider on bottom to advance hurricane models. I leave on auto model.

My brother has one. He lives in Inverness. They rivet a big piece of Teflon on the bottom. So the slide over stuff. It's crazy.

Wow, you really think that? I hope they are not that evil. But you never know with these people in charge.

right now, modeling is showing the eye making landfall across Longboat Key & though Bradenton. looks to be direct onshore winds south of eye from Venice beach to cape coral. track will be more definitive tomorrow. Could change easily

Yes three days of rain from a different system, and now everything is saturated, the swales are full, and now a hurricane,

My brother's beach house is just south of Sarasota, He just left town, As I was driving back from the East Coast today, Interstate 75 was a long parking lot towards Miami
