I forgot the threads birthday some time ago.

Been very busy lately after Carina and I made the decision moving back to Stockholm, Sweden for a number of reasons.
A few pictures I like to post.
The first one is Bertil Wik and me at a party in Stockholm a few weeks ago.
Second picture is a hat I got from Tobias Tejby. He was very successful racing the SST 45 class in the nighties.
Third picture is Renato and Cees in Drammen, Norway.
The last picture is Cees rigging one of his UIM OZ boats in his Boxtel, Holland shop. (I think 1979)
Well..I still logging in here at S&F sometimes to see whats going on.

we miss your post Lars. You were our staple on this platform like Jackie Wilson. Moving back to Europe is probably a decision you have long thought about but we love to have you over here traveling our beautiful country. Even if we don’t have the best people running for president and I won’t mention names. LTO and Havasu two of the favorites in my past and of course the Miami Marine Stadium. Best always amberjack

Wow...Lasse Strom - So nice to see you again. I rarely log on here anymore because there is rarely a new post and if there is, it is generally just boobs. For some strange reason, I logged on tonight and was thrilled to see your post. It was a shocker to see that you and Carina are back in Sweden, but then again, that is home for you. Any chance of your adding to your thread from time to time. Otherwise this will just become "Dust in the Wind."

Hi Lars,

I have a few questions for you. Is your camper in the back of that container? I see two axles stationed above your truck and I am assuming those are for the camper? How in the world does someone back your truck into the container and then get out of the truck? Maybe the truck has a sunroof and you could exit through it? You sure can't open the doors and there is not enough room to crawl out through the windows.

On another note, it is nice to see people posting again that have not posted since you left...

One of my sons retired in January from a local Police Department. He, his wife and youngest son now live in Sarteano Italy. They have an Olive grove and a vineyard that they are getting back up and running. The olive oil is very good. Once they get the remodeling of the house finished we hope to go for a visit.

Well..first its not the camper..its Carina's "Lipstick trailer"..full of her stuff..
We spent all day yesterday empty the 40 ft container in the port outside Stockholm.

As Penny on the Big Bang series would say: "Holy Crap On A Cracker...!!" Lasse, that is a lot of work. I don't know what that poor fella gets paid, but what ever it is, he sure earns it. I am assuming that when the "Lipstick Trailer" goes into the shipping container, the axles have to come off and then it is probably set on a set of low dollies and then pushed into the container. Then the axles have to be suspended above your truck. Then your truck has to be backed into the container. Then when the container arrives at the destination, all that happens again in reverse. I can see why it took all day to empty the container. Thank you for the pictures...
