WELL IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 2 YEARS, but the wood work is finally done. Looks like a boat again. finishing details, more epoxy coats , paint and then rigging. Have learned a LOT and have to shout out to MARK NELSON for his guidance and expertise through this process. Enjoy the pics...

Wheeled it out, gave it a good vacuum and rinsed out the inside. First bath. Getting ready for final coat of epoxy…….

That's cheating, using two rings instead of three, are they a little easier to install or do they still go dink, crap broke one, start over??? What do you use to hold the bearings in place when you install the piston pin and the rod on the crank?? Looks great, good luck.

I agree, the details in restoration look great. Is it new hardware or are you having the original stuff replated? No facebook for me either…. Thx

Boat had no original hardware with it. Finding all vintage stuff to use on it though. Including gauges.

Was checking out your thread on Inlines only and have a couple questions. What kind of spark plugs are those and have you ever considered opening up the reed stops a little, opening up the holes in the reed blocks a few thou, removing the bolt holding them together under the carbs???? Thanks for your time

after a fisheye problem on the last coat, finally got a good 4th coat of epoxy on the topside. Wet sanding time... 600 then 1000 then 2000 then final buffing .
