When BRP announced they were discontinuing Evinrude, I asked to have this unit. I was told it was going to their museum in Quebec, CA. To the best of my knowledge, BRP had 3 of them. 1 Johnson and 2 Evinrude's.

Yes..the #21 white Burgess/Evinrude CC above my brother Lennart raced 1983 was the boat I raced 1982.
Extremely great boat for the UIM OE/F3 class.

That was built at the request of Evinrude to get numbers on the then yet to be released V8. You needed to know the boat well to drive it and thus was later not rated to have the that engine or others that were similar in weight or heavier.

I got the same letter.

OMC used the Bill Muncey Miami late 1975 race for advertising the new 1976 Evinrude V6 200HP.
