    1997 Triad V21

Picked up this little gem locally over the weekend. Cool boat. Took it for a ride, what a fun boat.

I don't know why they never sold more of those boats. The magazine reviews were very favorable. With a 225, Wally got 88.6, while the Hotboat drivers got 80-83

More power in a bow rider, but no numbers. I miss the boat magazine tests.

Very cool David. This has a bone stock 225pm, runs mid 90s. It's super cool are rare, but may be a little small for the chain of lakes I run in.

Wonder if this one was originally from MN. Can't remember the guys name, but he showed up to a few UMPBA runs. Think he ran a high end chop shop/ beauty salon type thing Always had a good looking chica with him.

Nice rig at any rate. Be a fun Blarney boat.

One of the benefits of being retired is that my SS2000 is no longer too small for our lake. I still can’t go out every day, but living here full time, I get enough boating in.

Would you have the Triad as your only boat? The Triad or a Tuff are the only boats that would tempt me out of my SS2000 if I won the lotto

Possibly, you are the second person who referenced Sebastian. It was sold at Tinus new, so it has always been a local WI boat.

No not my only boat, I'm not selling my Liberator. Just another toy to play with. 24/25 Tuff would work just fine. Lol

I thought he had a Promax SS, but I'm probably wrong.

You might be right, I didn't remember one way or the other. I think the boat is the right color...somewhere I have VHS videotape of it I think. As I recall, the graphics on the motor were color matched to the boat when he had it. But I could be wrong...it's been 20 years since I saw his boat.

Firewater 2000 is when I saw it - many, MANY moons ago

if memory serves me correct there were 2 of them up here that ran superb! kenny with 3.2 stroker and cole with a big yammi both real fast boats! they might have been newer hulls but seems to me they ran like a 21 vking should have if one had been built!
