ACTUALLY---

It it is a 1500 OSCA

I think it was stitched to a #1 Mercruiser and run in the GCM--and disqualified by the referee---

It was given to 'Sonny' Jones to run in his 91" hydro-----

It sat in Stan Irwin's CUSTOM ENGINE SERVICE for years--------

...i patronized custom engine & knew stan. every mercruiser dealer in south florida did also. he always had the big-block parts & sterndrive parts that no other had. quite the inventory that others couldn't maintain. mostly all inboard stuff, not so much outboard. shame on me, but i cannot remember stan's daughters name that helped him run the business, especially after he died, & kept it going?...
