    RIP Mr. Geary

I suggested we go back to the dragstrip and resolve this disagreement. So the two of us went back, only to find the place locked up. We were determined to race and did find a way to "break in".
Back at Little Chicago, Bob bought me a beer, gave me a hug and said "Now that was fun!" .... and it was, just like s page out of American Graffiti

We muddied our tires using the route we took to get in and went directly to the staging area to clean them off.

We thought it might be a good idea to get out of there before the law arrived, so we agreed it would be one run only for the World Title.

We got ourselves lined up and, after giving me his best mean expression, Bob gave the nod and we were off! ..... As I mentioned previously, after the run Bob bought the beer at Little Chicago. I will add this comment ..... To this day, I still don't know what the ass end of a 427 Chevy looks like.

Bob V Yes the frog was named Woodstock. What a great time we had around all that craziness of the year at screaming Zonkers Racing. Chick Gagen CG125 Mary Gagnen Gary and Meg Peacock they lived out in Southwest Miami used to party like Rockstars. Chick was the serious one of the bunch a little bit more conservative driver than Gary but still a very tough customer On the racecourse. They had the best connections with mercury with the exception of Gene Lanham Or Mr. David skyway Marine. Have any of the Miami racers that I remember from those days. The Miami Marine Stadium was in its heyday back then between inboard hydroplane OPC marathons and then once a year unlimited races. What a great time to grow up in Miami. I gotta mention Mike Gordon Lou Nuta Others that I’m forgetting their names
