If the handle of the left side throttle is flipped over to the other side of the box it makes them easier to work with one hand

But Rich just drove through it like nothing.

...lake freighters are like a pusher bus. they punch a hole through the water, and unlike a regular boat where the wake comes off the stern, a lake freighter wake comes right off the bow only. its very visible and are really large smooth rollers only. they are quite easy to navigate. you simply let off on the throttle & ride them like a big smooth roller coaster. transversing them any other way is asking for trouble. have friends that have lost they're entire boats in an instant, doing it the stupid way. the boats never resurfaced for some reason......

#211 Sigge Isacson in his Flying Flipper cat..(build by him) 1969.
Very light weight and fast. If I remember right it was twin 1250BP
He later flipped and destroyed the boat.

Well..1984 Sigge Isacson and his son Per won the Roslagsloppet Offshore race "production class" in a Flying Flipper with twin V6 outboards.
Designed and built by father & son.

Early 1985 I special ordered a Flying Flipper for the new Evinrude V8 300XP.
Stronger transom for twin V8 outboards and a few other things.
    Great boat.
