Shotgun Shack. Been into a lot of them. Sometimes like that, sometimes on rescue calls. That was the final outcome for most of them.

While my wife was cleaning out some boxes we had in storage, she came across a "best wishes" type card from Molly & Ken Ballou. Molly's printing is so small I couldn't get a legible copy, so I'll just type part of what she wrote .....

"By the way we didn't run at Oakland because we were getting water in #6 on Ned VI - blown gaskets. Will keep you informed."

That indicates we had built something "off of the books" for the Molly Bee. I don't remember what it was and was wondering if anyone has a picture of the motors on that boat from around 1974.

This has to be the best photo taken of this boat. Only other one I've seen is the boat at speed in Long Beach.

Several years ago Molly sent to me her collection of race pictures. I put several of them on my computer and am pretty sure that I have posted them all at one time or another. You can tell her favorites by the typed description she attached to the photo.
