... https://youtu.be/9pDV7vHF2G4 ... allez vite apache 41...leaving key west harbor heading into the rough, where many have perished, due to the uneven sand bottom holes that greatly alter the water above them, with no warning. great cat performance, versus a vee's performance example. just gotta stay "on top" of it...

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

...for what its worth, ben built most all of the 41's & larger, up the road in hollywood. the first couple only, were layed up on 188th street at bob's race headquarters, which became bob's apache powerboats, where bob built the 33 and smaller boats, next to fort apache & apache bar & grill. all the later kramer/saccenti race boats, were layed up in hollywood, then sent to the fort apache race/rig/paint/machine shop for finishing. you could literally eat off the floors in this climate controlled shop at any time. the floors were painted in a high gloss light mint green epoxy finish. ben sent bob to every race around the world to throttle for/with him, on each boat, or boats, ben had already shipped there, sometimes inside of a cargo jet. this is how the boat got to the sardinia italy race for example, and others. bob would jump off the boat after each race, go to the helocopter that flew him to the private plane, and fly immediately back to north miami beach to his shop on 188th...

Favorite part of your video was him describing the first time they ran.

They all knew they had something special and just looked at each other without saying a word! That don’t happen too often and that type of a project.
