It has to be a good feeling to be one of these guys, participating in this starting lineup.

OK, so as a spectator I ask, is this event annual?

Seemed to me to be happening more often than that.

And, is it always the same date?

May have to plan a road trip for the next one.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

We host one in mid March and again in mid November each year. This is the first regatta we have had since spring of 2020 thanks to Covid.

Yeah, it used to be the same week-end as the end of Bike Week, do Bike Week and hit this on way back to Ohio, but they changed the date. Very cool event, tho.

I love boating in this area, lots of good restaurants on or near the water and lots of cool places to relax, very scenic.

We need to plan a run on the Harris chain. I agree, its one of Florida's treasures for sure. There is a lot of shoreline to explore and plenty of areas to stretch it out.

Really? I always found chop made more speed, plus a bit bumpy is more fun, I guess, depending on what you like.
