Chaz, is that an MFI pump I see? The throttle bodies are or look like it.
Gary, you're lucky to have that rare mid. I had one at the farm under a shed. Never thinking anyone would steal it. Well some ghetto crack head stole my trailer, loaded all kinds of stuff up.. Including a V8 mid and an old gearcase with a L&S nose cone I was going to try to reuse.

Yes they are. They buy up a lot of the short ones. They are magnesium and most have broken away, cracked or warped bases. I have a mag V Dub block (they all were) that I whittle chunks off of, to make parts I weld in place. Then they send them to a guy that does really nice resto work . Bushed shafts , new throttle blades. They look immaculate when they get them back.
The first time I saw one of those belt drive pumps .. I said .. looks like we didn't get all the Nazi rocket scientists after the war. Whoever designed that thing certainly had his **** in one pile ..
Gary .. I don't see many of them cans floatin around .. I think G-Money gotz all of em stashed away ..
