And you can charge them with a coal fired power plant.
Do people think electricity just comes out of the wall.

The 2012 car you refer to ( first year of production) came with a 8 year unlimited mileage warranty this car was over 9 years old the first year of S production, If he would have replaced the battery he would have been $15,000 ahead but would not have made you happy,
They have third party company's that will open the battery pack and just replace the bad modules instead of the whole battery for $5,000 or so, most all replacements have been done under warranty, not as exciting as blowing up with Dynamite to get YouTube hits $$

Coal fired power plants generate less than 20% of US power, less every year, Nuclear power plants were the answer but people could not get past the problems of the 1960's era plants out of their minds, stupid people
Nuclear still produces 20% of US power, China is now the leader in building them, they have 17 under construction.

    Hilarious!

Story also tells the story of two Texans dying in one in a crash after the batteries ignite.

    That's good Buckaroo

    sounds like the old adage

no matter where you go there you are

You can't run away from yourself

I know various people that dilute themselves one way or another to enhance life

Usually with poor results in long run...

    Merry Christmas

If you invested $10,000 in Tesla stock 10 years ago It would be worth over 1.8 million to day that is why Elon is soo rich...

Asout 3.5 years ago I was at the Fidelity investment office with my wife the 401 is in her name because when she worked at

Naples community hospital and they matched what Sue put in so I had her take 15% out her paycheck, but I wanted to buy

$100,000 of Tesla but he went to the almighty computer program and said bad Idea...

The 100,000 I wanted to invest would have changed my world today.

Elon Musk was already a billionaire 10 years ago. He made his first 150+ million when he sold pay pal shortly after the turn of the century (2001 or 2002 if I remember correctly). I was lucky enough to have lunch with him and 4 other guys when he was considering buying land that our group owned near the Daytona International Airport. He was thinking about putting the rocket manufacturing facility for Blue Origin on that site "it didn't happen". I can tell you one thing for sure about the guy "he has guts, and nothing is (out of the realm of possibility to him)". I really think he is borderline genius.

Jim, I remember you posting about all of the Tesla stock that you had in your portfolio. I would think that it, combined with all of your realestate deals, that money is the least of your concerns. Do me a favor and jump in on helping us assist Greg with his unanticipated expenses so he doesn't have to sell his boat.

"PS my Tesla stock is worth 5 times what I paid for it" Not sure what happened to your shares Jim because everyone else's has 9 folded in the last 15 months.....you might have bought some black market stuff, better check the authenticity of your certificates if you really have any.
