1990 Hydrostream Venus XT w/200XS
Finally got some good weather up here to pull her out and get some pictures after getting the 200XS. This is the first time I've actually seen it outside in the sunshine since getting it March 31st. Gotta love Florida I guess.
1990 Hydrostream Venus XT with 2001 200XS with 103hrs on it. Has a Ron Hill 28p chopper. Atlas 6" jack plate with 10" setback (hoping not too much). I still have to get the Florida numbers put on. Hopefully we'll get a break from the rain so the Suwannee will come back down and I'll actually be able to see how she runs. She sure is pretty though!

Nice. Does the Gen 1 200XS have a 1.87 gearcase? My Gen 2 has 1.75 gears

Beautiful time capsule you have parked there!! Love these old "Streams" - for me it was the beginning of fast boats.

Absolutely beautiful boat! If it were me, I think I'd move the motor up the jack plate to avoid running with the jack plate fully extended though.

Never been to Gornto Springs. I'll have to look it up. I'm usually on my Carolina Skiff ("wife's boat"). But I used to have an 88 Valero YT with a Mariner 2.5 EFI Magnum 200 (god rest her soul). I've actually never been in a 20ft Hydrostream so I'm looking forward to what many people have told me, a smooth ride.
Yeah man it was ordered that way. The guy I bought it from gave me the original hand written order spec and the hand sketches of the custom order color scheme. Also have an original mint condition 1990 Hydrostream factory brochure lol. Really cool stuff.

Nice! Can you drive your boat up into the spring? I go to Rock Bluff all the time; one of my favorite places to go, especially on a weekday. And YES, man we need a break on some of this rain. That's why I'm not running it right now because with the river high like it is I'm scared I'm going to hit a 16in diameter pole floating just beneath the water surface. I'm on call for work next weekend, but the weekend after that(07/30-08/01) I'm planning to run it if the weather permits. Not taking it out of the garage if it's raining. If I do though I'm thinking about putting in around Hatch Bend and running down to Fowler's Bluff. Just wanting to take a nice long cruise at least, maybe stop at a few of my favorite Springs (Rock Bluff, Hart, and Fanning Springs). Guess I'll also need to check into Gornto Springs. Do you know of anywhere on the river that sells 93 non ethanol by the way?
If I'm in the upper 80s I'll be very happy, and 90 would just be the icing on the cake lol. And yeah that little cuddy is awesome. It's surprisingly roomy up in there too.
