Mercury Through The Years...

Thanks for the monumental effort fujimo. I started in on this a few weeks back...up to page 161. I get a lot of missing pictures..example.. is there something i can do to fix that on my end?

I had to turn off my enhanced tracking protection to see photos that Fuji LINKS to, that are not on this site.

Years back Tinypic was a free image hosting site, then they decided to charge. If you didn't pay them their ransom money your pics were gone. Happened to many.

My 1500XS I ordered in 1977 finally had hex head transom bolts rather than those T handles that ALWAYS loosened up. Hefty lugs and bolt bosses are the way to go! Mercury even specifies bolt head direction and sealant requirements on today's big models.

apples & oranges...but tell us about the k-drive that carl & fred kiekhaefer developed that steered simularly, almost 40 years ago, as the new V-12 does...
