12-07-2020, 08:52 AM #183But what drives me is new technology and working to keep driving forward.
Sounds like a pseudo explorer to me ...
But if you think you need a 300r to ride around in a little mud puddle .. have at it.
Just do us all a favor and wear your safety gear. Keep in mind the new gear case is not ratcheting. The package is a bit more top heavy than what your use to . Etc ...
I have a "prop station" myself .. with templates from most of the builders. Most people go ,, Oohhh~Ahhhhh (yes i have a big Baldor buffer too) look how shinny .. I say honey, would you get a piece of construction paper, and a new Sharpie .. that's right trace and cut out the shape .. and put it with the rest of em ...
And J.P. I would have liked to have known grand-pa, sounds like my kind of guy ..

Always wear safety gear, the evinrude and merc cases I run are non-ratcheting anyway..... Trace and cut the shape out? Shape is just 1/8 of it but sure that will get you sorta in the right direction. little mud puddle ??? come on HAHA why not just have a little john boat with tiller then?

Jeez people , relax no ones making anyone go buy a 300r , no reason to attack anyone on here because they do like them. I saw crt was making 15” mid and it uses the 3L sporty, to me it’s what it needs , haven’t heard anyone talking about it at all tho, too pricey idk haven’t seen any pricing on it, I think it was at lotto

ahhh another dick swinging contest your starting... your such a globalist... I actually have 2 rundquist Race gauges "left and right", an anvil, hammers and a torch. I'm working out of town and fly home on thursday where I can send your old man ass pictures of it if you want lol. and by built I took an existing design and modified it... "built". "Built" meaning 12+ hours behind a grinder/prop guage/pitch gauge/buffer....

Weight savings? Custom cowl? Wingplate? The theory seems OK, but billet i don't think is the answer, heavier than cast. More bolts to fail as corrosion points.
Most importantly it seems that the new 4 jokes have yet to be mentioned without the word WARRANTY! Seems like warranty is the number 1 selling point of these car motors. Everyone will be on eggshells not to void it. The was a post recently were the op was told by merc that adding a Wingplate to a 250r would void his warranty! Are you ****ing serious? It will be 10 years before guys are looking at aftermarket parts like thisANTI40It's just an idea.

Nooooo , you said you "built props" and would love to show me ...

After not posting any ....
I "asked" to see them ... pretty fair since I post lots of stuff I have built or am currently working on ...
Yes, I'm old. Feel even older. Am a conservative Republican .
Build vs Modifying .. wide gap between those two, but glad to now understand how parallel those two term's are ...
It's that small "it" that tell's me the mega-mod entails ..... "one unit" ...and by built I took an existing design and modified it... "built".
A man's gotta start somewhere ... I'd suggest getting hold of a few different Dewald , Hering , Hydromotive , Edelson (F+J) , old Throttle up , Hill , wheels , make a template ... and notice the trend ...
Cut close to the line , sand to the final line (scribed) polish er up so the crows will like "it" .. should improve your start~finish window.
Static or Dynamic balance .. ???

Both static and dynamic are equally important..... I've seen them all Guy... Funny all your trying to do is discourage a younger person like me to take time over and above his full time job to try new shapes, designs and such... Way to try to keep the sport and passion alive. And i'm Very conservative and a Republican myself.. Never have i once voted left.

Sorry I’m late to the party, I’ve had to dry out my keyboard from all the tears I cried laughing so hard at this 133mph mirage... I’ve heard some tales in my time but this one is up there.
