Does anyone remember what year they ran this thing in the Gold Coast Marathon? I sort of remember seeing a picture of it in the paper bit I don't remember exactly when.If so I wonder who drew that driving assignment?

That photo might have been taken at Lake X.
I saw a table just like that in storage, when I borrowed some water skies at the Lake to go skiing.
And as I remember the table was sturdy and heavy. I think 3/4" ply, or maybe 1".

I vaguely remember a picture of that thing with a couple of number boards on the sides. It might have been that summer. I ran my first Gold Coast with in 1964. I did the north run and my Dad did the south run. That was my dad's only powerboat race. I am glad I got to do that race with him. I still can't believe he let 17 year old me race our family boat in several races until I blew up his motor.
