Ya, you can't go wrong with either. Great engines overall, smooth quiet, decent low end torque. A breeze to maintain. The pricing is really good too. The Pro has stiffer upper mounts, but not solid, so no worries there. You save around $400 on the reguler and the gearcase / ratio is different. Either will be fine on a toon.

I never understood why Merc has a 175XS and then with the V6 has a 200 and a 225. Why not have those also offered as XS or are they way different?
