I think I know what this thread is about, and Dave S has hit the nail on the head. That guy is just an Askhole. There’s always one or two of them on every forum, who post threads asking for help, usually posited on some theory about what the problem is and how they think they should fix it (although they can’t fix it, otherwise why post, right?) then when they get an answer that counters their ingenious theory, they respond with rebuttal after rebuttal to the people who try to help them. That’s an Askhole, plain and simple:
