What props are equal to a 4 blade bravo 1?

A friend loaned me a bravo 1, 4 blade vented prop. It’s the right prop for my hull with a 22” pitch. Can’t find one used and don’t want to buy new. Is there a prop out there that is equal and maybe more common?

Short answer: No ...Tried a couple others, came back to the Bravo 1. Then had it labbed & it was even better. Not worth mentioning the others.

Try contacting the bigger prop repair places in the larger boating areas if money is short. You will eventually score.

but he’s not saving any money, they are in the same price range. A brand new B1 can be had all day for around $700, here’s a used one for $460. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercury-Bra...IAAOSwGXpettKp

Solas L4 or Lexor is a Bravo copy for cheap. They make a Pro version too that's "labbed" and has the SAV (Solas adjustable vents)

PowerTech has a Bravo I knockoff too but like everything else you get what you pay for and Mercury’s pricing on standard props is quite competitive.
