Saw a 26’ Stoker (very rare) w/twin V-8s at the Dania flea market yrs ago.

It was a turd but was still hard to walk away from.

How bout a nice Stoker of some sort, always have liked those, and a OMC would be right at home on the back of one.

26 stoker has always been my favorite, so hard to find. I had a 21 superboat, 22 velocity, and 20 stoker over the last few years. We get some rough days here. All great boats but the stoker sat way to low in the water for me. My 21 Checkmate Starliner was also a great boat. Depends on how many seats you need and stuffing an open bow or stoker was never fun. The 22 velocity was a stand up boat thats probably why it seemed to take waves the best.

I would think that an Apache 22 would be a good choice too - competitor to the Velocity. Check out the thread on this, some pics of them rigged with a V8.

Finally have a good core for a V-8 project after two previous aborted attempts.

Is everything seller described.
Cowling is very nice, w/all orig insignias removed for shipping!

Is a virgin 3.6 which is what I wanted.
Bore to 4.0 specs and have stock bores.

Has one bad hole that I think I could hone and put back together.

Long ways away but nice to finally have a good core.

It can sit in the corner for awhile till your ready nice to have when have the time etc and find what boat too..

There's a 86 275 by me that claims to have only 56 hours on it that caught a ring? Looks like new..
Really tempted to pick it up hes keeps going lower on price too..

Don’t forget to take a look at the fuel tech system Gordon is running on his action. Very reasonably priced I’m having trouble stopping my self from putting one on one of the g2 Powerheads here

don’t forget a triad v21 beef just got one and it rides nice still 100mph with 300hp. Not a potato chip that will break if it’s bumpy.

Gordon said same prop/setup it turned over 1500 more than the carbs and it was still not tuned.

do bush sleeves and pistons for 4.4L monster just don’t run his pistons or deck the block so you don’t loose any grunt on the bottom.

Just ran compression on the one side w/a head gasket.

142 - 144 on all 4.
Gotta love that.
