Maybe it's just me, but these really narrow beam boats are just too user unfriendly for me. Sure they're fast (they better be), but I use my boat for more than just going fast. In fact I can actually take the family out and move around the cockpit on mine. And the grand kids love the huge area under the deck. The Chaudron? Not so much.

Since the OP started this thread years ago, one thing that has always stuck out to me is how Progression's 22 is the only boat on The List that has a full area under the bow to use. Makes all the sense in the world as you say.

Even more impressive when it runs 94 mph with all that and still crushes rough water when the time comes. Plenty of film showing that over the years.

I don't have a dog in this fight and Rob you are a valuable resource for all of us, but let me make an observation. When the Tuff 21 first came along, everyone questioned it's true top speed and rough water cajones back years ago. But, over this threads long life the stats started to surface and the 106 mph rose to the top. The various details and photos have made this thread both fun and informative IMO.

But never once did you say, "hey take the Tuff 21 off the list because it is only 20'8" long and the OP wants 21-24 feet". You banged the Tuff 21 drum again and again, as you should have, fully knowing the type of SOB everyone was talking about.

Now, you have a "political" gripe because the Tuff 24 does not fit at 24' 9"? Why didn't you lobby the political elders to remove the Tuff 21 for all these years?

You are getting more hard headed than all of my Quebecois beaver pelt trading relatives. Either take a Stihl to your Tuff 25 and make it 24' or start your own 25' thread from scratch. Tuff's are great boats, but this thread is not only about Tuff's as you can tell if you are reading it? Labsport, Bernico, Velocity, Nordic, Sutphen blah blah blah. So stop being lazy man. I'm getting very punchy being in lock down and with older relatives hit with Corona so sorry but have a lot of time on my hands and your not Justin Trudea last time I checked.

While I'm on the soapbox and breathing clean air, if you want to produce any photos of the Tuff 21 V or it's bigger brother running in rough water, I'd like to see 'em. In 8 years or however long this thread has been running never seen a photo, never mind a video of either running anything but smooth. The others on "The List' have plenty. Your friend at Tuff makes amazing boats, all agree with that. And make note that I've pumped up the 21 Tuff as much as anyone.

Looking forward to the backlash ................. from all the Northern folks.

How can you include all boats on this list that are sub 21’ yet exclude one that is longer than 24’, but is the same class of boat. It makes no sense
