Hmmm. You might be correct on that. And my memory says she was highly suspected as the one who had Tommy killed in his warehouse, by her younger boyfriend? I could be wrong.

At one point the Costas put the G motor on a Carlson for a while. After that I don't remember David continuing to race. His dad was one of a bunch of drivers running Raveaus in H class when I started racing.

Jack, Stan Erwin, and my mentor Bob Waldo who ran the first Dade Marine all lived in Key Largo. They drove to Miami every day. They would all go to breakfast usually at the Captains Cabin on Saturday and Sunday. Treasure and I would drive down there to meet them at times. They loved life in the Keys and were a lot of fun.

I had a warehouse 2 doors down from Tommy, for at least 4 years before he bought the complex. The FEDS told us they were going to seize them an we had better move out. What a cluster F..
Randy Lanier had one there also.

Sorry to interrupt, but now that he has finally arisen from a good nights sleep, just wanted to try to catch Gene before he takes his afternoon nap.

Hey Gene, take a peak at post #4224 ..... is that the Molinari you were referring to?

Thats a good one. Dick was a good writer... Out of coincidence, I was bored today, and watching video of when we went to the moon & back. When the astronauts were picked up at sea & when they were walking down out of the helicopter onto land for the first time, all they could think about, they said...was where the F..U..-..K is the toilet, cause they all were about to cr-p in their pants. Thats what they all said...& stuck out in their memory the most from the pickup.

When I was with Powerboat TV back in the early 2000's we did a Boating in New York feature with Dick De Bartolo. After we were finished shooting he took us up to the Mad Magazine offices and then back to his Craft Craft houseboat that he was living on. Lots of fun and a very avid boater.

    I mentioned H. C.---

Butch--are you old enough to remember HAROLD??

If you had a flathead in the 40's --early 50's---

You had two choices--HC on 27th- Ave---or SEARS--

You mean HC and Mama? I used to go there when we needed something done at Holman Moody. HC liked me, showed me his Avanti's with pride. My brother had one and i rebuilt it with advice from HC. Of course Treasure grew up with Jack and Billy, and the Allisons.
