Yes. We live in a relatively small (less than 50K) county and out on the lake which is rural. One lady that we know has been hospitalized for almost 2 weeks and although thought serious at first is now expected to recover. A VERY CLOSE friend who has recently undergone chemo and radiation succumbed yesterday to lung issues which required massive oxygen and indicated a ventilator. It was not cancer related, however I believe it was the Virus although hospital is failing to release numbers of cases. Another close friend who's about 20 years younger than I am and played for the Broncos has lost 4 friends or former team mates. He just disclosed that this morning with one name, so I don't know details. Unfortunately the U.S. is nowhere near the peak of this mess and the numbers are expected to skyrocket as more are tested, driven by those who just refuse to take it seriously and live by the guidelines for the next couple of weeks or even month if that's what it takes. There's a picture posted on our lake website here that shows a sandbar gathering yesterday that involved dozens of people in close proximity. After criticism from some local residents several of the idiots involved have screamed facism and other similar comments over the restrictions which they refuse to ignore. I wonder if they take it home and kill momma, daddy, grandma or grandpa if they'll take responsibility. The bad thing about this is that a person can be infected for up to two weeks before experiencing any symptoms and contagious the entire time.

As an institutional equity trader (buy side) of 15 years I can say that the Canadian banks and economy are far more stable than the us. We never had people
loosing homes. Our banks never had a “bail out”. Our banking restrictions are much tougher than in then the US.

We now have 2 cases in our neighborhood 2 in the neighborhood south of us and we are not testing as much as we should I am not here to start an argument but when I shared what my sister and brother in law said about this virus it was a waste of typing 85 plus years of medicine on the emergency side of it. I not saying the sky is falling but we need to stay in find the hot spots and isolate the positive people. Some of you are lucky enough to have parents for them until we see the curve you must stay in. Economy will bounce back we have the people in the right places to insure this.
