    Why bother fixing.....A good used one is $200....end of story.....I don't see any Lancia V6 cranks as lamps....They were art work....... 5cly audi?

    You’d be 500 into it for Marine Crankshaft to fix and it’ll still be a repaired crank. Just find another one. That one is junk

    I have a crank that 1 journal has damage but its barely enuff to catch finger nail , I figured its junk , but r u sayin if it's a very minor nick or sumthin it could possibly b fixed? Just curious,

    Merc 2.5.....a small nick is ok.... for a fissing or hand granade.....If ya use the old Big rods it will hold up case's them rods are close to bullet proof.....but stick a piston and they will beat a block to bits.....Yes.I have rods........Sorry I never got back to you about carbs......that happens in Daves world........

    Forget fixing! Find another crank and make that one a nice lamp with custom bearing surface!......
    Also as stated, check your oiling check valves are working properly and clean.

    x2 Tony i have a clear hose i put on the bottom to top bearing oiling hose to see if its oiling then replace it with new stuff, rods are just as dangerous if that cap aint perfect i never used it i ve seen many rod bearings that cage hung on the mismatch and bearing started skidding ruining crank and soon the rest of the assembly

    To the orgg poster.... I have a crank if ya want.... u pay shippin.... to 2.5 merc.... same as I have rods just PM me ya # street adds...good lukanhappynewyears......and ck the flwhell... top brng.....something ate the bearing.... pre 1982s bulestrip....have poor contact area... on the lower seals.. JUSTWHATIKNOW....I know Dave S. is a ****ty spella...Hick......

    Amen Bobby! I use yellow Tygon with small tie wraps on all bleed. I also always replace the top & bottom bearing plus cap seals top& bottom no matter how good they may look.
