The TV show "Route 66" did an episode at the McCulloch outboard test center in the early 60s. Looked just like that. Also in black and white. I was given a complete box set of all the episodes of "Route 66" several years ago and I watched that one again.

I remember that episode too. Cool times. Actor Martin Milner, from Adam-12 fame, was one of the main characters driving a new Corvette of the day.

They never explained how a couple of itinerant road warriors managed a new Vette every year. The new car always arrived the same week that Chevrolet released the new models.
