What are 260s worth these days

Looking at a boat that has twin 2.5 260 efi and I am really more interested in the hull and would sell the motors off separately. I believe they are 1994's, with no mods, have 20" offshore mids and counter rotating CLE lowers. I don't think they have even been rebuilt and didn't see any welds on the blocks. I really can't come up with a true number for how many hours are on them. The boat ran fine last year but hasn't been used yet this year, it has always been in fresh water. I will try to get a compression test before I get to serious, if the compression #'s are good could I get 15k for the pair?

This year, I sold a good running big bearing 260 with about 50 hours on it for $6000 with an offshore 20", and no lower. I'd say you're a little high since you don't know the history. Re-ringing these things ain't cheap.

I looked at an HST rigged with a 260 last year and the seller had a second 260 with fresh rings, 0 hours incl sporty he was asking 6k for the mota. It sold within a week
