Ran across this at a nautical antique shop last week. Sold in 1973 at Merc dealers to commemorate winning the World Championship that year for $8.88. Ran on 2 D cell batteries. Included a page torn out of a 1973 Motorboating and Sailing magazine with the information on it. Never been taken out of the box or run. How many of you had one of these?

Wow, I remember those! I wanted one bad!

My buddy got one and we played with it in the pool. It was slower than Christmas on the motor, but if you gave it a good hard shove you could get it up on the sponsons for second.
