I wanted to build something like that a few yrs back with a copy of the Venom bottom....V-King deck.

Yeah lengine going on my 13' bullet, I would love to do that race for fun if my boat is done by then prob don't stand much of a chance but would be cool to do. I have a 12x22 Merc labbed cleaver for the engine too.im hoping she runs mid 60's with that setup.

I'm working on getting more power out of the merc 60 platform. If you come up for the race, I'll show you around.

Yeah, the 4 strokes. I'm using an aftermarket computer so I can adjust the tune at will. Getting a few different cam profiles ground and try to figure out where the power bottle necks are.

Larry Register in Marianna, Florida makes them and John Tolbert of Molino, Florida sells them for Larry. John's number is posted above. I think they sell for a few grand, in general.

Idk, the good rough water boats will be in the front, this race is in the ocean. That would struggle id think. Looks like a fun lake boat, id be afraid to run a light weight layup boat in the rough stuff they come apart in the lakes sometimes.
