Is lake x in Watson bayou. My sister lives on that body of water, would like to take their boat near there, unless it is top secret and off limits

Too bad there's no more cool top secret tests going on there. Just imagine how many "animal " v6 projects made their way down that canal and let loose into the lake....

There is more activity going on there then you might think but us outsiders are not privileged to see it after all of the talk that took place after the last unveiling.

I believe mercury new testing spot is Watson bayou. But not called lake x my mistake.

I think it would an awesome spot to host a SouthEast Endurance race like the Parker. The Lake would clearly support a 4.5 mile course and limit the event to Outboards Only.

I have always liked the tower, to imagine how many deep thoughts were processed in it is just a serious thought to process as it stands dormant. looks like some Ian Flemming would have designed for a Bond film. ( Imagine how many millennials are going "Ian who ???")

Mercury did the unveiling of the new 4.6 V-8 outboard to select dealers and press. People were told not to talk about what they had seen and or been informed of until the official product release. The next day it was all over the place, price sheets were posted on line etc. (not at all what they wanted to happen). So I don't think that you are just going to stroll up and see what the guys are working on at this point and we will all have to attend the Miami show to experience stuff first hand.
